The St. George Children’s Center offers a variety of programs designed to assist parents and promote the best care possible to every child.

The programs are as follows:

Fulltime Toddler and Preschoolers 
This program is offered to families that need care on a daily basis, the center is open from 7:00a.m. until 5:30p.m.


JK/SK Program

  • Before & After School Program
    This program is offered to families that require before and after school care for their child. This program is for children in Junior and Senior Kindergarten. (The public School is conveniently located right behind the Center)
  • Before or After School Program
    This program is offered to families that require care only before school or only after school.
  • PA Day or Holiday This program is offered to families of our school age program that require a full day of care when the public school is closed at an additional cost.

School Age Program

  • Before and After School Program
    This program is offered to families that require before and after school care for their child. This program is for children in grades 1 up to 6. (The public School is conveniently located right behind the Center)
  • Before or After School Program
    This program is offered to families that require care only before school or only after school.
  • PA Day or Holiday This program is offered to families of our school age program that require a full day of care when the public school is closed at an additional cost.

Programs


Late Fee Policy
The St. George Children’s Center closes at 5:30p.m. daily.
Parents arriving after 5:30p.m. will be charged a late fee of $1.00 per minute that is due immediately upon pickup.


Subsidy
In some cases families can apply for government assistance to help in childcare costs. Because we are a licensed daycare facility we can aide parents in this process. Please see the Executive Director for more details.

Payments
Bi-weekly post dated cheques are due upon enrollment. Dates will be given from the Executive Director at time of enrollment. Full fees are due bi-weekly, regardless of missed days due to illness, inclement weather or Statutory holidays. Returned NSF cheques are subject to a $45.00 charge, you will receive a verbal and written notice of a returned cheque. After three NSF cheques the account will need to go to the Board of Directors for review.

Vacation
In July and August parents can choose the weeks of care that is needed. Parents are asked to notify the staff in writing prior to taking holidays in order to staff accordingly.

Withdraw Policy
A minimum of 2 weeks written notice is required when withdrawing your child from the program.

Notice of Rate Changes
Parents will receive written notice of any rate changes 30 days in advance.
